Joy to the World (2006)

Sounds of Christmas vol. 1 - no. 17 (publ. 2006)
Duration: approx. 2:30

On a warm spring morning in 2006 I had the amazing experience of sitting writing Christmas song arrangements.  As the sun shone brightly I arranged songs about the everlasting light shining on cold, dark winter - quite surreal, but part of the life of an arranger, I guess!

I was pleased to supply this arrangement, along with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and The Everlasting Light to the UK Salvation Army's Music Ministries for their Sounds of Christmas publication.

Joy to the world! the Lord is come;
Let earth receive her King,
Let every heart prepare him room
And Heaven and nature sing.
